@Uptime provides white-label IT Support and NOC services to MSPs, enabling them to extend the services they can offer their customers. This role involves working with a leading UK based MSP who will provide further training in order to assist the successful candidate in increasing their technical knowledge.

Living in the Colombo area is a distinct advantage, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:
Providing 2nd Line support to a large client base (SME). Being able to act as a skilled point of escalation is key. An MSP background is preferred. For this role, it is vital that English language skills, both written and verbal, are at a very high level.

  • MS Windows Server: 2012, 2016, 2019
  • Microsoft 365
  • Azure & Azure AD
  • Microsoft 365
  • MS Exchange 2010 and above
  • Remote Desktop Server implementations
  • Networking - VLAN’s, Routers / Bridging.
  • Security - Firewalls such as SonicWall, Fortinet, Cisco
  • Endpoint protection, AV • Security best practices
  • Virtualisation – Hyper V & VMware
  • Backups

Please note that this role will require an engineer to work a rotating 24/7 shift pattern
